An Inside Look: Jibs and Jubilation 2022

The Rail Jam is back and better than ever! Good vibes at Jibs and Jubilation were flowing through Trinity Campus this past Friday, kicking off the first Rail Jam of the season.

The UVMSSC team dusted off their shovels this week, prepping for a successful Rail Jam competition. Battling rain and windy temps, the team worked together to fill trailers of snow, with a huge help from the UVM and surrounding community Ice Rinks. The UVMSSC team shoveled fresh powder, broke up ice and hard-pack back and forth from the shoveling sites to Trinity in preparation for the event. With tunes rolling and spirits high, prep was a great team effort, despite the Burlington winds whipping.

Following hours of slope-building and several snowball fights, Friday arrived… our KICK-OFF! We saw an incredible turnout with a huge crowd, all stoked for another year of jumps and free stuff. Our slopes held up well, resulting in a night packed with some serious air and great competition. The Final-Jump competitors took their places on the podium, and the crowd erupted in a snowball fight. As always, no better way to jump into a great season of shredding.
